We learned to put our egos aside in the service of the music and that meant that we adopted a more collective approach, particularly in the writing. We've gotten better at communicating our ideas without getting too attached to them. There is no single recipe in the creation of our songs, they can emerge from a riff, a lyric, a buff. They can be rewritten, abandoned, revisited, deconstructed again and again.
